Can public transit systems be reinvigorated with AR Installations?

THE CONTEXT
An average commuter waits approximately 15 min per trip for public transit, with 34 million trips taken each weekday in the US. That equates to 510 million minutes lost per day, and an astonishing 133 trillion minutes per year of potential productive time lost in the US along. What if we can utilize this time for public education or culture cultivation?

The M.Next concept museum deploys Augmented Reality to overlay traveling exhibitions within the Metro and Subway trains stations to reinvigorate the public transit system, entertain the commuters, and educate the general public of new concepts and ideas.
The network effect exhibition showcases the social phenomenon we experience every day, often without noticing. The same effect made service platforms like Instagram, Twitter, Uber, and Airbnb a hit in this digital age. It is situated in the major public transit systems, a prime example of the network effect. It strives to educate the mass public of the power in their daily decisions that influence the course of history.
