THE CHALLENGE

In 2009 Research in Motion — the creator of BlackBerry- sought future mobile device directions.

We dreamed of an easy-to-use operating system called Fusion, a cross-modality OS that allowed the development of the emotional connection between the user and their beloved device. The platform includes a dual-screen mobile phone and a mid-sized digital note pad that bridges the palm-sized screen and the laptop.
